Jennifer Moss - Published commercial and fashion photographer. Jennifer has been shooting professionally for over 12 years and has helped numerous beginning models build their portfolio and train for shoots. Jennifer has been featured in Los Angeles Magazine and her work has appeared in Bodyguard and Summumm Magazines, among other publications.
Carmen Cornish Helligar - Talent manager and former model/actress. Carmen specializes in runway training, styling and posing for the many styles of modeling.
Tania Russell - Makeup artist to the networks. Tania has been in the makeup industry for over 10 years, working with celebs from Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera to Johnny Depp. Her work has been seen in numerous magazines, music videos and television.
- The Business: The different types of modeling and the criteria for entering each.
- The Agencies: How to get an agent, which agencies have open calls, modeling v. acting
- Your Portfolio: Comp card and portfolio review of all participants. Let the experts review your pictures!
- Photo Sessions: Choosing a photographer, how to stay safe, what to bring to a shoot, what to expect from the session.
- Go-sees: What to expect, we'll have each participant do a "mock" go-see: practice with us so you're ready when you're called in!
- Runway: Learn the best runway walk for you. What happens in a fashion show, how to get booked.
- Spokesmodel: She walks AND talks! Learn your speaking "flaws" and how to fix them. Cold reading, acting coaching and teleprompter.
- At the Shoot: Posing help, accentuating your strengths and weaknesses. How to work a shoot for commercial, editorial, catalog and beauty.
- Makeup: Doing your own makeup for go-sees. How to work with a makeup/hair artist. What kinds of makeup to use for your own face and skin type.
- Beauty Sitting: At the end of the workshop, each participant will do a short beauty sitting, incorporating everything you have learned. Participants will receive a CD with their photos on it after the workshop.
